Children's Ministries Mission Statement:
Our mission is to transform our children into fully devoted followers of Jesus in a nurturing, loving, and age appropriate environment to encourage their spiritual growth.

T - Team Team with parents in laying a spiritual foundation. Deuteronomy 6:5-7 says “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. “ In Matthew 19:14-15 Jesus says, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” At Oak Hill Bible Church we believe it is important to have a ministry that teaches our young children what it means to love God and love others. We want to teach the children the Word of God in a way that they can understand, as well as give them a loving environment from godly trained adults and youth leaders. There are a number of children’s ministries that we offer to help us educate the children of our church. Our children’s ministries include many programs for all aged children.
Nursery:
Every Sunday morning during the entirety of the 9:30 service, we provide adult supervised care for children ranging in age from newborn to 3 years old. The nursery is located in Room 8 down off the gym.
Children's Church:
Every Sunday morning after praise and worship time when the Pastor’s sermon is about to begin, children ages 4 years old - fifth grade are dismissed from the sanctuary to join an adult leader teacher along with two youth helpers in one of our classrooms. There the children will be taught an age appropriate Bible lesson.
Children’s Hands-on Worship (CHOW):
After Sunday morning service, all children ages 4 - grade 5 are invited to learn about God’s word in an age appropriate class. These classes meet during the same time as our adult Sunday School classes from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
VBS:
Every summer, during the first week of August, we plan a one week Vacation Bible School program. It is held from 9AM – 12PM with a parent presentation on Friday night. The kids hear age appropriate Bible stories, create crafts, play great games, eat amazing snacks, learn awesome music with Bible verses incorporated in the lyrics, and most importantly feel God’s love shine through all our trained staff and volunteers.
